I have 2 aquatic turtles (water turtles). One has a bumpy shell, the other is smooth. What does this mean?

The water temp is correct, and they have a heat lamp and a uva/uvb lamp. Why is it bumpy? I feed them on turtle pellets, and dried shrimp once a day, also they have frozen blood worm and a type of frozen fish.
