I just askd if i could amend my return after i had filled an injured spouse on my joint return?

my hubby didnt work at all he is been in prison and i didnt have to fill joint but did cuz im 23 an didnt kno better im gettin different answers from people still confused can i amend it or wait to see how the injured spouse thing turns out? Can i amend my return if i filled jointly married and filled out a injured spouse form.. can i just amend it to show it was all my income
